The need for real-time monitoring of objects on water surfaces is critical for safety and security of marine vessels. Traditional lookout methods rely heavily on human observation, which can be unreliable and ineffective, especially in adverse weather conditions or low visibility.

This solution developed with Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Stakeholders and Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) Scientists enables real-time monitoring of objects on water, air and land surfaces to help or replace traditional lookout methods employed by the CAF ADM(MAT), CANSOFCOM, ADM(IE), CFINTCOM, C ARMY, RCAF, DG Space, and DRDC today.
